Many hotels have private beaches and swimming pools. The climate is very mild in winter, spring and autumn provide perfect holiday weather. July and August can be very hot up to 42 degrees centigrade.
The health care is excellent. Ahu Hetman hospital has very experienced doctors who speak English. It is a private hospital and they will require proof of insurance. Dentists are modern and well equipped. Pharmacies sell most drugs over the counter without need of prescription and the pharmicist will be happy to assist you with your minor ailments.
BEACHES
The long narrow sand and shingle beach is busy with sun worshippers,
also if you enjoy being more active you can enjoy the various water activities.
There are plenty of restuarants and bars along the beaches.
SHOPPING
Shopping in Marmaris is an experience in itself.
Leather goods, gold, carpets and clothing and very reasonably priced.
The bazaar is a must for visitors, there is also a large outdoor market on friday's
where the prices are even more cheaper than the bazaar!
NIGHT LIFE
The night life in marmaris is very varied and cosmopolitan.
There are hundreds of bars and night clubs of every description.
The world famous BAR STREET is comprised of bars and night clubs one after the other.
Whatever your taste in music you can find it here until 4 a.m.
